Augusta Choral Society membership is open to all people high school age and older who successfully pass an audition. Our members, now including 80+ singers, come from a 7 county area of Georgia and South Carolina. They include students, teachers, military, physicians and nurses, secretaries, retired persons, clergy and many other backgrounds and professions. The common link that brings all these people together is a love of music and a desire to sing great choral literature in a professional setting.
Our main season runs from August to May and we rehearse once a month in June and July. Most of our concerts are performed with professional orchestra and soloists and sometimes include the Augusta Children's Chorale or other local choral groups. All singers are welcome.
